Community of Science (COS) Funding Opportunities is a subscription-based database which allows users to search and find funding information from more than 25,000 records. Funding opportunities found on this website are provided by sponsors throughout the world and include private foundations, public agencies, national and local governments, corporations, and more. Funding is available for a variety of disciplines such as the physical sciences, social sciences, life sciences, medicine, and the arts and humanities. Funding opportunities are updated daily and all information is verified with the sponsor. |

GrantSelect
GrantSelect is a fee-based online database which lists "over 13,000 grant programs from over 5,800 unique sponsors." GrantSelect offers a broad range of grants opportunities for researchers, nonprofit managers, development officers, small business owners, students, educators, and more. The database is updated daily by direct contact with sponsoring organizations and searching for grants may be done by keyword, geographic location, subject heading, or a combination of all. GrantSelect includes grant program sponsors from the United States and Canada. |

Illinois Research Information Service
The Illinois Research Information Service (IRIS) is a fee-based service unit located at the University of Illinois Library at Urbana-Champaign. IRIS is comprised of three web-based funding and research services: IRIS Database, IRIS Alert Service, and IRIS Expertise Service. All three services help faculty and undergraduate and graduate students search and identify over 9,000 active federal and private funding opportunities in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. |

The Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN) is a searchable database containing detailed information about grant programs from more than 1,200 different federal and non-federal sponsoring agencies. Funding information is obtained directly from the sponsoring agency. |
